◎幕后揭秘
　　《猜火车》别名《迷幻列车》， 仅用了49天就拍摄完成，是一部本钱为250万美金的小建造影片。本片描写了苏格兰爱丁堡一群吸毒青年渣滓式的生活现状，其冷静的喻讽口气，实在的论述态度，贯串始终的黑色诙谐感及布满现代感的声画处置使之成为另类影片中的典范。影片对吸食海洛因此发生的快感停止了极为细致的描写，同时片中所充溢的出错情感及所表示出的代价观和自我认识引发了社会的极大关注和争辩，因此影片一出炉便成为言论的焦点。“猜火车”本是一种游戏，指无所作为的人在火车经过的地方，即兴赌博猜测下一班火车经过的时辰和目标地，借此打发时候。影片以此为名意义深远，当火车狂啸过站时，不知要将仆人公们的命运载往何方。影片显现给观众的是苏格兰爱丁堡文化的一个最实在的面孔，青少年们也许会在其中获得共鸣，并能从中肯定自己存在的位置。影片所反应的社会现实，以及它所吐暴露的冷酷、无政府状态、非支流群落对支流社会的抵抗与抵挡，给了在常态社会中生活的人们极强的冲击。

　　本片可谓电影奇葩，从内容到形式，从表演到导演都散发出新新人类叛逆气质。《魔鬼一族》(Shallow Grave)的英国新锐导演丹尼·博伊尔采用极为狂放的手法，将低下阶级的愤慨青年塑造得栩栩如生，而且不失诙谐兴趣。饰演瑞登的伊万·麦奎格凭本片一鸣惊人。影片的故究竟在并不出色，但对毒瘾爆发时的视觉再现可谓一绝。
