　　十年前的冬至饭局是一场紊乱的初步，舅父因误解与外婆关系破裂，就此拂衣而去。早已躁动不安的爸爸情感大爆发，举刀恐吓提出仳离的妈妈，成果误伤了女儿，儿子没法谅解父亲，继而离家出走。十年曩昔，一家人的关系仍然结冰。表妹忽然从英国回港，带来了舅父的死讯，并希望促进一场冬至饭局，以圆死者遗言。久违的饭局约请，令众人检视本身与家人关系，有人决议出走，亦有人挑选返来。面临崩溃的危局，恰好也是这个家庭修补关系的契机。
