◎简　　介　

　　安妮（托妮·科莱特 饰）和鲍勃（哈威·凯特尔 饰）是一对富有且人脉普遍的美国佳耦。在为久经圆滑的国际朋友预备出格奢华的晚饭时，安妮发现参加只要13位客人，安妮手足无措，由于她深信13是个很是不吉祥的数字。不得已的情况下，安妮让她的忠厚女仆玛丽亚（萝西·德·帕尔马 饰）伪装成一个奥秘的西班牙贵妇人加入他们的晚饭。但是，在酒精的驱使下，玛丽亚意外地获得了一位英国艺术品掮客人（迈克尔·史麦利 饰）的喜爱。本片报告了安妮为抹杀他们正在抽芽的爱情而发生一系列啼笑皆非的工作。
