　　《風流斷劍小小刀》由張徹的愛將狄龍、傅聲攜手合作，调集了當时兩大武俠巨星，延續兩人俠骨仁風的硬朗形象。故事描寫大俠段長青（狄龍）在一小鎮得遇名妓柳銀絮（施思），柳懇求段殺死現以「神醫」為名的黑道高手郭天勝（谷峰），為其未婚夫報仇。段聯同鎮內賭坊護衛高門（傅聲）殺入郭家，正邪兩派惡鬥連場。此片有別於一般武俠故事，並非只以武鬥場面為中心，末段還加插了柳銀絮情歸何處，澹然帶出豪杰舔血生活的感情一面……
