　　故事相当风趣，描写富家子亚瑟为领会决懊恼，居然聘请职业杀手干掉自己，但后来改变主张，由于他爱上了一位白天在大学念考古学的脱衣舞女郎。为了回避杀手，亚瑟跑到远东避风头，不意杀手跬步不离而至。后来亚瑟终究搞清楚“杀手”的身份本来是保险公司的掮客人，由于他在决议寻死之前买了二百万元的人寿保险。与此同时，亚瑟本来在股票市场损失的大笔财富又奇迹般赚返来。
