　　由于妇产科护士坦承12年前将有钱中产阶级的Quesnoy家的男孩与下层阶级Groselle（北非移民）家的女孩偷换，现在Quesnoy不想交还女 儿，还想把儿子Momo买过来。Momo是在粗暴卑劣的家庭情况中长大的早熟聪明圆滑小惯窃，可是他到了Quesnoy家却把他们弄得鸡飞狗跳。
　　这是一部社会嘲讽剧，对有钱阶级和没钱阶级同时停止炮轰。故事讲一个护士跟下属有染，曾故意将两个初生婴儿调包。12年后，下属的妻子归天，但他不愿跟情妇成婚，因而她大爆调包奥秘，使两户贫富差异相当明显的家庭堕入各自的危机。富家愿意把自己孩子接回去，穷的那家则拼命敲诈；穷家女儿回到富家后，将很多之前的习惯带了曩昔；富家的女儿对自己亲身怙恃很是猎奇，但他们却并不想把她领回去。
