简　　介  

　　1941年的北非疆场，英德两军苦战正酣，英军节节溃退。布兰保下士（Franchot Tone 饰）被坦克遗落，蹒跚进入埃及人法瑞德的女王酒店，而几近同时，德意联军批示部进驻此处。布兰保乔装酒店办事生达沃斯伺机逃走，意外发现隆美尔元帅居然近在天涯，而他所假扮的达沃斯更是德军特务，布兰保决议留下以便密查德军补给计划的“五墓行动”详情，同时也对酒店的法国女招待姆丝（Anne Baxter 饰）发生情愫。
　　未几女王酒店又迎来了一批英军俘虏，布兰保与对方获得联系并终极打探到“五墓行动”的真相，但是一向对姆丝有所诡计的德军军官施威格（Peter van Eyck 饰）对他发生了思疑，布兰保情报在手，却因姆丝要面临国家命运与小我感情的繁重考验。
