◎简　　介

　　故事发生在韩国釜山的海云台，在2004年印尼海啸中，由于船主万植（薛景求 饰）的失误致使了妍熙（河智苑 饰）父亲的死，他心里怀有深深地自责，并无微不至地照顾这个邻家妹妹，渐渐地两人暗生情愫。不外，万植的中学同学吴东春（金仁权 饰）却并不看好这对苦命鸳鸯。万植的弟弟亨植 （李民基 饰）是海上救生员，他在一次行动中，熟悉了富家蜜斯金希美（姜艺媛 饰），两人在鬼使神差的交往中，闹出了很多误解。
　　维珍（严正花 饰）鞭策海云台成为世博会旅游参观点的大使，她和前夫——国际陆地研讨所地质专家金辉（正直勋 饰）育有一女，但她现已另觅爱人。金博士为此很是苦闷，同时他在观察中发现大马岛和海云台的东海地质情况跟2004年的印尼海啸千篇一概，一次罕有的庞大海啸正在逼近海云台，但是灾难防御厅却对此不以为然……
