　　原本，赞克·吉布斯的最大愿望就是可以具有一部下于自己的汽车。可是当他偶然间从他父亲那数不清的发现物中发现了一块希奇的腕表而且偷偷据为己有后，他的奇妙之旅今后便起头了。
　　  四周的天下在一种奥秘气力感化下，时候变得似乎静止了。一切人被定在了一个牢固的时候里面。很快，赞克发现，本来奥秘就来自这块腕表，而且他很快就把握了操纵的窍门。因而他与他的新朋友，聪明标致的弗朗西斯卡一路在静止的时空里感受这无拘无牵的欢畅。

　　  《时光骇客》一片从98年就起头筹划，最初的构想是拍一部题材类似于《飞天宝贝》(Flubber)的拿科学发现开涮的轻笑剧，后来到了2000年，影片的重点转移到了时候的放慢与加速上，很明显这是“《骇客帝国》效应”的又一表现，不外这一次是热烈的青春笑剧版。
　　
　　  一部面向青少年的科幻笑剧。实在从故事的主题上来看，本片有深度挖掘的潜力。在生活节奏日益加速的现代社会中，人们最匮乏的元素就是时候，而能让时候静止，任你为所欲为地把握——这个构想还是相当具有吸引力的，惋惜编剧和导演明显无意在影片的内在上多下功夫，不外有《星舰迷航记》的演员和导演乔纳森·菲克斯坐镇，最最少该片的科幻视觉殊效是值得期待的。
　　
　　  男配角的饰演者杰西·布兰弗德是好莱坞的年轻新秀，22岁的他已经从影多年，曾别离在1984年的《坠入爱河》(Falling in Love)和1990年的《推定无罪》(Presumed Innocent)里“做”过罗伯特·德尼罗和哈里森·福特两位大影星的儿子。在《罗米欧与朱丽叶》、青春卖座片《魅力四射》等片中你都能欣赏到他的出色归纳。
