◎简　　介

　　埃文（艾迪·墨菲 Eddie Murphy 饰）是公司的财政总监，在职场上气吞山河的他在家庭中却屡遭挫折。由于终年来对家庭的轻忽，忍无可忍的妻子洛瑞（瓦妮萨·威廉姆斯 Vanessa Williams 饰）挑选了分开，埃文频频许诺会天天分出时候来照顾家庭，这才保住了女儿奥利瓦（雅拉·莎希迪 Yara Shahidi 饰）的抚养权。但是，随着时候的流逝，许诺的气力越来越弱，当埃文在家里也起头玩弄他的手机时，奥利瓦隐约大白往事将要重演。
　　本来，埃文比来的工作很不顺遂，即使尽力如他，也没法阻止公司节节下滑的盈利，与此同时，奥利瓦的拆台也让埃文一个头两个大。偶然当中，奥利瓦翻开了一扇奇异的门扉，在门前面的，是一个布满了奇异魔力的安好天下，在这个天下中，埃文洗刷了生活和工作中堆集的压力，也大白了什么是生命里终极要的工具。
