◎简　　介

　　年轻少女贝丝?雷蒙德（Shannyn Sossamon 莎妮?索萨蒙 饰）正履历人生最可骇的时辰。她的两位好友谢莉（Meagan Good 饰）和琳恩（Azura Skye 饰）短短几天内相继遭受横祸，古怪灭亡。更加可骇的是，她们在死前的几天皆收到来自自己手机的语音短信，短信不但预告了死期，还录下她们惊骇失望的呼唤。尔后几天，贝丝更亲眼目击其他几位朋友的灭亡，阴森肃杀的氛围在她们之间舒展。
　　差人杰克（Edward Burns 饰）受命观察此案，与其他警探分歧，他对贝丝的描写深信不疑，由于杰克的妹妹即是这连续串古怪事务的第一位牺牲者。两人告竣共鸣，结合观察背后真相，而这时贝丝却接到了自己手机发来的奥秘短信……
