简　　介

　　1956年，日本避免买春法实施，原本兴旺一时的艺伎行业遭到重创，此后一落千丈，不复昨日光辉。在东京花街经营艺伎馆的鸢奴（山田五十鈴 饰）更显费劲，此前她被汉子欺骗钱财，麾下的数名艺伎又各奔前程。恰恰鸢奴又是个赋性颇强的女性，看待不爱好的汉子总是提不起爱好。就这样，她和女儿胜代（高峰秀子 饰）以及其他几名艺伎过着东挪西借、节衣缩食的日子。因失丈夫与孩子而失生活来历的梨香（田中絹代 饰），为了保存来到鸢奴的艺妓馆担任女仆，亲目击识到这些看似风光实则各有辛酸的女性实在的生活……
本片依照幸田文的原作改编，并荣获1957年蓝丝带奖最好女配角奖（山田五十铃）、1957年电影旬报最好女配角奖、1957年逐日电影最好女配角和最好艺术指导奖。
