　　20世纪60年月，安保活动如火如荼，日本社会动乱不安，反动派的行动愈演愈烈。一个名为四时的构造，其成员皆以年、月、星期、季节作代号。某晚，十月率领其成员潜入美军基地，盗出数箱军械。使命几近完成之际行迹表露，十月之队与美军保卫发生剧烈枪战，伤亡惨重，十月也受伤失明。在此以后，兄弟构造冬组侵占了他们夺来的军械，十月的带领兼情人秋也对其大加挞伐。被逼无法，十月和其同伴们决议离开构造，倡议针对东京的炸弹攻击……
　　
　　该片上映之初，适逢新宿炸弹事务而被迫推延上映。片中插曲《在寂静的最火线》，三十多年后用到了若松另一部作品《结合红军实录》中，既是出于本钱的斟酌，也是对曾帮助他鞭策影片上映的结合红军成员远山美枝子的祭奠。
