　　《新兵正传》报告了富家子弟Ken（陈伟恩饰）高中结业后收到新加坡兵役告诉，妈妈（洪爱玲饰）用尽方式助儿子提早兵役，却徒劳无功。Ken在不情不愿进入军队，熟悉了爱吹嘘的王罗邦（王伟良饰）、爱捧臭脚的Waylang（林俊良饰）和其貌不扬的IP man（叶光荣饰）等人。Kan和罗邦经常以各 种来由回避练习。一天，Ken得知女友移情别恋，为了逃离军营挽回女友，因而凌虐自己至病倒，岂料急忙赶往医院的爸爸（刘谦益饰）途中却因心脏病发而发生了车祸……
