　　本片描写两名洛杉矶的差人受命伪装情侣，前往同性恋出没的场所侦察一宗凶杀案的线索，不意其中一位差人自己就是同性恋者，因此闹出了很多笑料。在《象人》当中使人留下深入印象的英国性情明星约翰．赫特，在本片中饰演同性恋的差人，与花花令郎型的拍挡雷恩．奥尼尔之间发生了相当风趣的关系。导演詹姆斯．布鲁斯用笑剧方式来处置这个特别的题材，冲淡了很多为难氛围。
