　　美国铸币厂员工哈利路卡斯失慎弄坏五万块，却没有一丝证据可证实他的洁白。因此他请退休的印刷工帕伯吉祥斯及高明的保险箱窃贼艾维利杜刚辅佐窃取铸模。在牢里因故失听力的杜刚从寺库老板路瑟波顿何处获得一付助听器，波顿得知他们的计划后也筹算要介入。担任这个狡计的"司理”的路瑟又采集了不才水道工作，可帮助他们到达铸币厂的罗夫，及儿童游乐场”游船”的操纵职员，可帮手大伙不才水道飞翔的船主，还有冰淇淋小贩，可作为吸引美丽又好事的维娜的诱饵。最初，足以让一切专业罪犯感应为难的，在维娜于”入侵”当日成功地被分手留意力之际，哈利的这群满脑子钱的杂牌军得以带着他们偷印的七百万元逃逸！
