　　这部由东木制片的《TheMule》将聚焦一位名叫LeoSharp的二战老兵，他为墨西哥贩毒团体锡那罗亚输送毒品长达十年之久，2011年在用一辆破卡车输送价格300万美圆毒品穿越密歇根州的时辰被捕，那时他已经90岁高龄，后来他的律师坚称Sharp是由于老年聪明而被人操纵，最初Sharp只被判入狱三年。


　　早在2014年，ImperativeEntertainment从《纽约时报》买下了一篇报告Sharp故事的文章，并计划拍成电影，那时一度传出导演敲定为《匪帮传奇》《毒液》的鲁本·弗雷斯彻。


　　据悉，《TheMule》将由华纳和ImperativeEntertainment连系建造。曾与伊斯特伍德合作《老爷车》的尼克·施恩克执笔的第一版剧本，《单身毒妈》和《政局边沿》的编剧DaveHolstein停止了终极改写。
