　　青少年冒险故事《金银岛》曾屡次搬上银幕，本片是迪士尼公司摄制的版本。描写在十八世纪中英国少年吉姆从弥留海员彭斯手中获得传闻中的藏宝岛，于当地乡绅支援下构造探险队前往金银岛。海盗头子约翰西尔弗应征船上厨师，一群手下也上船充任海员。到达金银岛时，吉姆碰到在荒岛上独处三年的海员班恩，而西尔弗则策动哗变占据风帆。吉姆被提上风帆，危机时西尔弗竟脱手相救，因此跟其他海盗发生冲突。最初李福西医生与班恩合作对于海盗，也成功获得宝藏。
