简　　介  

　　在电视影集「迈阿密风云」中饰演组长的爱德华詹姆斯欧蒙，以这部描写墨西哥裔黑帮生活的电影作为他首度执导的作品。片中首要人物是一位在洛杉矶长大、名叫山塔纳的少年，他和两个朋友一路组成帮派，未几后便因闯空门而遭拘系；由于山塔纳获释后未几就再度犯案，便从少年感导院〃直升〃牢狱。在牢里的这18年事月里，他在牢狱内外建立了自己的犯罪王国，从贩毒到杀人无恶不作。当山塔纳终究出狱后，他回到旧时的街区想要悔改向善、重新做人，但他的昔日伙伴却不愿放过他，逼他重拾黑帮老迈之职...由于此片是在牢狱内实景拍摄，并将一些实在的监犯拍摄进去，因此在美国上映时引发很多媒体的留意。
